JESUS IS LORD conference
". Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life; no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."
John 14:6
Welcome, in this section of our ministry we are sharing scriptures and knowledge foretelling of the goodness of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ of Nazareth. For anyone who is unfamiliar with the power, grace and love of our Lord, we aim to inspire you that your heart can be prepared aiding you in the Lod's direction. For anyone who is a seasoned believer we share all, so that you can have a stronger interpersonal relationship with the King of kings and the Lord of Lord's.
Purpose & understanding
The sole importance of Christ in our lives cannot be understated. When Adam sinned and subverted the dominion God had given him into the hands of Satan there were two grave consequences that manifested which produced themselves in the form of sin and corruption. This tainted God's creation but God (Genesis 3:13) spoke of a promise giving a light of hope and restoration. It was this same promise that was able to reconcile the fall of man and bring us all back to himself. The promise was made manifest (John 1:1-4) to us and has come in reverence to God's son the Lord Jesus who is our redeemer, high priest and mighty counsellor. The Lord Jesus pronounces his purpose to restore humanity back to God's desired origin in (Luke 4:18) "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised". Through the previous passage we can interpret that the holy spirit is fundamental behind God's purposes and just as Christ relied upon the spirit and received without measure we also must comply with the spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:3) "Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost". It is through this revelation that Mission Borders has called to an assignment within Turkey to accompany the will of God.
the lords love
Love is one of the key components of the gospels which was Christ's ministry. We understand through interpretation of scripture that God has ordained many actions on the behalf of us all in relation to his love for us. We must remember that the enemy is a deceiver (Revelation 12:9) and he will project imaginations along with thoughts into our minds to make us feel worthless, to suffer from low self esteem and emotions that make us feel like we have to perform to earn God's love but this is not of the truth. God's love has preceded our lives before we were even born (Jeremiah 1:5).
rEDEMPTION
"Ye who were once afar off are made nigh by the blood of Christ" (Ephesians 2 : 13). Reconciliation means we are now joint- heirs with Christ, this is a significant advancement for us through faith. It is imperative that we maintain walking in a strong relationship with the Lord because he is integral to the success and fulfilment of our day to day living. Part of Christ's the Lords ministry was to also inform us of his Kingdom and the Kingdom that Jesus spoke about is not a geographical location. It is an economy, refuge, spiritual habitation and an empowerment that God has integrated to dwell inside of us and we are tasked to bring forth the glory of this Kingdom outwardly that we and others are able to experience.
Healing power
Jesus has is the Lord and as Lord he has dominion over all things on heaven and earth (Matthew 28:18-19). Part of the Lord Christ's ministry when travelling the various regions of Israel was to demonstrate the power of Gods Kingdom. This is understood through many encounters he had with people who were sick, of a broken spirit, destitute and longing for help. Our salvation in Christ grants us access unto an inheritance as being joint heirs (Romans 8:16-18) whereby we are also the recipients of a delegated authority having received the keys to his Kingdom to also help and assist others (Matthew 16:9). Below we have a compilation of how Jesus the Lord influenced the lives of those he encountered.
Matthew 9: 20-22
"And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment: For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole. But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour".
Matthew 11:5
"The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them".
Luke 4:33-41
"And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the Holy One of God. And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not. And they were all amazed, and spake among themselves, saying, What a word is this! for with authority and power he commandeth the unclean spirits, and they come out. And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about. And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her. And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them. Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them. And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ".
Luke 5:17-25
"And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them. And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him. And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus. And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, thy sins are forgiven thee. And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaketh blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone? But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason ye in your hearts? Whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Rise up and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy couch, and go into thine house. And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God".
